Man mag sich fragen,warum viele Hochzeiten gerade im Mai geschlossen werden, aber diese Frage stellt sich dem Menschen kaum.
Liebe und Monat Mai scheinen eins zu sein.
You might question why so many weddings happen in May. But this is not a real question because it seems that Love, and the month of May are synonymous.

Ein entschiedenes Ja zum Leben, wie es gerade alles auch in der Natur zeigt,
ein Blumenmeer mit Schmetterlingen und Bienen und Hummeln,
ausgelassene Zicklein und Lämmer; die ersten Bruten haben schon zu fliegen gelernt,
und das Leben lächelt dem Sein.

Revelrous yeanlings, and baby lambs, the first broods of birds learn to fly,
and life smiles to Being.

Liebe, auch wenn man kaum in Worte fassen kann, was das ist, ist eine wundervolle Energie.
Sicher biologisch gedacht, eine kluge Lebensstrategie für die Art, als Selbst zu sein und sie zu erhalten.
Und ein süßes Gefühl, auch wenn man die Vögel bei dem unermüdlichen Füttern der Brut betrachtet,
diese bedingungslose Liebe, Liebe zum Sein.
Love, – what it is – cannot be expressed in words, it is a wonderful energy.
Surely in biological terms it is an intelligent life-strategy, for the species, to exist as a species and to propagate itself.
And it is sweet when you observe birds, who tirelessly feed their young – this unconditional love, the love of life and Being.

Erich Fromm sagt zu der Liebe bei uns Menschen:
“Wir Menschen haben ein angeborenes, tief verwurzeltes Verlangen zu sein: unseren Fähigkeiten Ausdruck zu geben, tätig zu sein, auf andere bezogen zu sein, dem Kerker der Selbstsucht zu entfliehen.”
“Sie (die Liebe) wird jeden Augenblick geboren, aber ist kein Rausch. Sie ist keine Trunkenheit, sie führt nicht zu Selbstvergessenheit, sondern erwächst aus der Überwindung des Ego.”
Und doch: “Zu Lieben ist ein schwieriges Unterfangen; kaum eines ist von so vielen Hoffnungen und Fehlschlägen begleitet.Lieben ist eine Kunst, wie Leben eine Kunst ist. Diese Kunst kann man erlernen.”
Erich Fromm, well-known German writer and philosopher, speaks of the love of humans:
“Us humans have innate, deep-rooted desires to Be: to express our capacities, being active, to bond to others, to escape the prison of self-interest.”
“It (the love) is born each moment, but it is no frenzied delirium. It is not inebriation, it does not lead to self-forgiveness but it grows from the overcoming of the ego.”
Yet still: “loving is a very difficult undertaking, there is no other endeavor more difficult, so filled with hope and failure. Love is Art, as Life is Art. This Art can be learned.”
