In der nördlichen Toskana habe ich nun für meine Kunst das El Dorado gefunden, eine Schatzkammer voll von Gestrandetem, Angespültem, achtlos Fortgeworfenem, mit dem die Natur ihr kapriziöses Spiel getrieben hat. Verzaubert durch erhaltene Sinnlosigkeit, zweckentfremdet, nur noch Ästhetik pur.
